When I copy and share a link, it cannot be clicked on to access the folder.

When I copy and share a link, it cannot be clicked on to access the folder.  I was able to copy and paste to a new browser tab, but when I email the link, the recipient is prompted to sign in to verify their identity.  I tried sharing the folder, and they were still prompted to sign in to dropbox.  We are bidding on a project with lots of subcontractors that are not computer savvy.  Has anyone else encountered this problem?  I am still waiting on a response from drobox's "specialist team".  It's been going on 4 days with no response

They need some extra time to investigate cases, please keep in mind that the Specialized agents working on these cases usually have up to 24 hours to reply back.

I got an email from the "advanced support" team at 12:26 am.  They sent instructions on how to copy and paste a link, but I know that information already, so it did not solve my problem.  I was able to use Edge to get a clickable link, yet when I email it, the recipient is prompted to sign in via Google, Apple or Dropbox.  This will be a problem when you are sending the link to several subcontractors who are not computer savvy.  We will do nothing but field phone calls as to how they can sign in.   I need to get help in real time, not the middle of the night.
